In the Trabzon and Rize service area, indoor gas installation projects are reviewed by Aksa Trabzon Rize Doğalgaz Dağıtım A.Ş., part of the Aksa group. Below you will find the rules the app applies, the specification status and a checklist to go through before you apply.
Rules: TS 7363 common
Specification and calculation rules
Aksa's Indoor Installation Design and Application Rules (2019 Rev.01) have been read. The document leaves the calculation values to the TS 7363:2018 standard, and since the text of the standard has not been read, the calculation limits use a common profile, based on TS 7363 general rules. This page and the values in the app will be updated when the standard is uploaded.
Rules from the Aksa document built into the app
- DN15 is not used in welded installations inside a flat (art. 2.10); automatic sizing picks DN20 or larger.
- No tee branch is made at the meter outlet just before the pipe enters the flat (art. 2.9).
- Inlet valves are of the lockable type and unused outlets are sealed and blanked (art. 2.7); the main shut-off valve and the meter valve carry an OPEN-CLOSED sign (art. 2.5).
- Type C or condensing appliances up to 50 kW may be placed outdoors in a ventilated cabinet (art. 2.15).

Are there other distribution companies in these provinces?
- Trabzon: the only distribution company in the province according to the GAZBİR list.
- Rize: no other distribution company operates here (GAZBİR list).

From project to gas opening in the Aksa Trabzon Rize area
- The customer signs up with an authorised indoor installation firm in the Aksa Trabzon Rize area.
- The firm surveys the site: service box, meter position, appliances, flue and ventilation.
- A certified engineer draws the project; choosing Trabzon as the province in GazPlan brings up Aksa Trabzon Rize Doğalgaz Dağıtım A.Ş. and its rules.
- The project is submitted through the channel and in the format the company accepts; return notes are corrected and the project is resubmitted.
- After approval come installation, the leak-tightness test, the gas opening appointment and handover.
